Naz is a
sunny and idyllic village at the entrance to Val Pusteria, not far from Bressanone and the mountain pasture region Gitschberg/Jochtal.
Tasty apples thrive on this flat high plateau, especially Golden Delicious. Every year 11,000 tonnes of crisp apples are picked in the apple village of Naz. The landscape is therefore characterised by apple trees: In the
spring the apple blossom delights visitors, in the
summer the rich apple orchards, in the
autumn the ripe fruit.
Being active on the apple high plateau
The apple high plateau is ideal for walks, easy
hikes and bicycle tours. More demanding tours are found in the
Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage in half an hour distance.
